Background Filter
You can select Canvas > Background > Filter and tweak the background filter using ‘Background Filter’ component.

Editing Animations
You can manage or modify the animations using the ‘Animator’ tab (Window > Animation > Animator). Click an object that has an animator component and you’ll see the animation states. Now, you can select an animation and tweak them as you want. To edit a specific animation, you can select an object, click CTRL / CMD + 6 and then start tweaking by using the animation window.

Localization
Dark UI is using Unity UI and TextMesh Pro, you can change the text and allow localization easily. However, some objects are managed by its managers (buttons, modal windows, etc). In such cases, you can enable ‘Use Custom Content’ to bypass the manager values and change them manually.
